Mendes Selected as Excalibur Associates, Inc.

Excalibur’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Fred Mendes to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mendes brings an extensive background of Federal market experience and success in business development, program management, and technical leadership. In his role as President and CEO, Mendes assumes guardianship of Excalibur Associates’ corporate reputation for ethics and its commitment to quality services. Mendes’s expertise, his talents and his vision are seen to be significant assets to continuing the growth strategies of Excalibur Associates, Inc.
The founders and board of Excalibur welcome Fred Mendes to his new position.

Charlie Burns, Jr. will serve as a senior advisor to Fred Mendes and as Chief Financial Officer overseeing the recently initiated Excalibur Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
Excalibur’s co-founder, Wayne P. Speigel, will continue to serve as the company’s Chief Operating Officer with a primary focus on corporate infrastructure, process improvement and daily operations.
Robert A. Fitton will continue to serve as Executive Vice President, utilizing his thirty years of proven success in innovative business development strategies, strategic alliance development and client relationship management.
